Mr.Taken Syndrome: A rant about getting over it

The worst feeling ever is when you see your friend dating your crush. I mean, how could she do that, right? But it sucks even more when your friend happens to have been best friends with that guy before dating him. That leaves you no rights to complain, because they knew each other better. Well, let's add another twist to this, nobody knew you had a crush on him! So now you're stuck. You aren't supposed to feel bad about it, but you still do. The question is, how do you get over this? You can't go to a friend for moral support because nobody knew, and you OBVIOUSLY can't talk to your family about it. So yeah, not a good place to be in. The trick to getting over it is basically just accepting. You can't change what's happened, so why cry over it? I know, I know, not as easy as it looks. But think of it this way, if you were meant to end up with that person, you would have. If he had ever liked you, he would've made the move. So, dear girly, be glad you didn't have to risk rejection and got the answer on your own. Now that you know for certain he doesn't like you, there will be no need to admit to your crush. In fact, maybe it's time to get a new crush? Whatever you do, remember that now you've got answers without even trying. So for all those girls who are upset over a guy they liked dating some other girl, be happy that you were saved the embarrassment of rejection. Now, I'm not saying it will be a piece of cake getting over that guy, but think of this as a step in the right direction

PS: This was written because I have just been through this. And this rant kinda helped me vent out my feelings and speak about how to overcome it. Thought someone out there can relate. :)
